Boots are a must have piece of footwear, especially for the wintertime. From formal leather boots, to hiking boots, waterproof boots and even low-top boots, the options are just about endless. Everyone needs at least one pair of solid boots that you can wear with anything, but why have just one pair when you can have multiple, right?
I wanted to make a list of my personal favorite boots to wear at the moment. I used to have a hard time wearing boots but I think think that it was just because I never had a really good pair. It’s something so simple but throwing on a pair of great boots with an outfit just feels different. There will be a range of different styles on this list, both high-top and low-top variants as well, so hopefully you see something that you like and want to add to your closet!
3sixteen Square Toe Side Zip Boots
These are hands down the best boots that I own. They’re comfortable, great design, amazing quality, and you can wear them with literally anything — everything that you would want in a boot. Good luck getting your hands on them because they’ve sold out extremely quickly every time 3sixteen does a release, and for good reason. I scooped my pair up when the brand did a pre-order last year and they were worth every penny (I love when brands do that to make items more accessible)! If they run another pre-order in the future I would drop whatever you’re doing and just buy a pair, seriously you’ll thank me later.
Fracap for Knickerbocker KF101
I am so glad that I grabbed these before they were gone for good, they’re stellar. Started in 1908, Fracap is an Italian boot maker that hand makes all of their boots made to order. They make some of the highest quality leather boots that I’ve ever seen, they are truly dedicated to their craft. This specific pair was in collaboration with the New York brand Knickerbocker. These are extremely versatile and I wear them all the time. Unfortunately they are sold out unless you can find a pair second hand somewhere, which if you can I would definitely recommend that you grab them, however Fracap has some great low-top style options on their website.
Blundstone 558 Chelsea Boots
Ah, the Blundstone 558, ol’ reliable. Honestly, I don’t have much to say about these that hasn’t already been said. Blundstone has been around forever and they make some of the best quality boots out there. This is another boot that you can throw on with whatever and they will look great. They’re also a great option if you don’t want laces. One of my favorite things about Blundstones is that you can really beat them up and they’ll last you a long time and still look good. I would say these are probably the comfiest boots I own as well. Also, they’re waterproof which is sick.
Our Legacy Daimyo Boot
This pair from Our Legacy is probably the most unique boot that I own. I love Our Legacy as a brand and especially their footwear. I got these when I was wanting to buy a pair of Camion boots but didn’t want to drain my wallet at the time. This pair was on sale on their website for half off so I decided to pull the trigger on them, and it’s safe to say I’m glad I did as I have not seen these re-release. I love the zipper on both sides of the boot and the color is even better in person. If you want something with a similar look I would actually try to find some vintage cowboy boots from a local thrift store or online.
Cricle Cage Mountain Derby
Another low-top option, these boots from Cricle Cage got pretty popular on social media a few months back. I picked up a pair and was very pleased with the quality, fit, and look. I would highly recommend these as an alternative to something like the Paraboot Clusaz if you’re on a budget, at $150 these are a steal. I really enjoy my pair and they are very easy to style. Check out the brand’s instagram below.
Reese Cooper Wilson Boot 2.0
This last boot is one that I don’t own but I desperately need (maybe Reese Cooper will see this somehow and send me a pair lol). I absolutely love light colored boots that have a black midsole and mudguard. The Wilson Boot is a tank with a durable Vibram lug outsole, leather lining and Italian suede upper. The lacing system and the red laces adds a great pop of color to the boots and makes them truly unique. These boots from Reese Cooper are definitely a grail of mine.
