Welcome to this month’s installment of Release Recap! I will be posting these articles around the first day of each month, looking back at my favorite items that released the month prior. Here you can expect to see new releases from brands that I love, releases from new brands that I find and want to share, and new items that I find interesting in general (in no particular order).
April had some absolute BANGERS when it came to releases. From Umbro and Carnan’s incredible link up to some great spring/summer staples from Adsum and an amazing footwear collaboration between Story mfg. and Asics, there was no shortage of ways to empty your bank account last month.
If any of these items are still in stock I will link places to buy them. None of these links are affiliate links, I do not make any money if you click on them or if you use them to purchase any items on this list!
Manresa Scotty Dawg Sweater
Of course I have something on this list from Manresa. If you don't know by now, Manresa is by far one of my favorite brands. Not much to say here except these sweaters look amazing. I can't decide which color I like more so I haven't picked one up yet but I'm leaning towards the cream.
Adsum’s SS25 shirting has been immaculate, but I think this one has to be my favorite. I love the blue check design and it looks like you could throw this on with anything in your closet this summer and it would look good. I think that’s one big thing that Adsum excels at and I love, a piece being designed to be effortless to wear. I actually have this shirt on the way so more updates to come after I start wearing it.
I’m still so sad that I didn’t try harder to pick this pair of shoes up when they released because they look absolutely incredible. They’re just so unique and still somehow seem very wearable. I desperately need these in my closet. The way you can weave the laces together is so creative and matches the check design of the shoe, I love it. Story mfg. killed this collaboration.
Small Talk Studio Jean Cut Trouser
I really need to find a way to get someone to send me these jeans because they’re immaculate. The selvedge denim is lightweight and drapey, perfect for hotter temperatures. They also have a waist cinch, which is such a cool design feature. Small Talk Studio did a fabulous job with these jeans.
Umbro with another banger of a collaboration this time with Brazilian brand Carnan. At this point we can just assume that everything Umbro touches turns to gold. The way both brands weave football love and inspiration seamlessly into beautiful every day garments is just perfect. Unfortunately most items from the collection are sold out but there are some sizes in certain pieces still available. If you can get your hands on anything from this collection it's a win.
Sadly this hoodie is pretty much sold out online. That’s probably because it’s such a solid piece of clothing. Really sad I couldn’t get my hands on one (I can fit a size medium or large cough cough hint hint @3sixteen lol). I love the crop and color and I really want to see how the cotton feels in person.

Every Other Thursday Thomas Jacket
I feel like this is definitely a release that went under the radar. Every Other Thursday’s recent spring offering was full of great items, but for me this jacket takes the prize. I absolutely love this color of brown and the fit looks dialed in as well. It’s still available in a full size run online right now so go scoop yourself one if you need a nice light spring jacket.
Had to add this bag from Adsum here. I have their original Zip Tote and I use it all the time, it’s great if you want a tote style bag with a zip closure. My only complaint with the original is that it lacks structure, which is something that this new Super version fixes. This new iteration has a built in foam base for added structure and laptop protection. It also comes with exterior zip pockets as well as water bottle holders, which is clutch. I think this would be the perfect airport travel bag and I need one.
Metalwood Studios has had a very strong run recently with their spring releases. As someone who recently got into golf later in life (and is absolutely terrible at it, I might add) and also enjoys clothing and fashion, Metalwood is the perfect union of the two. The design and colors on this shirt are beautiful and the two patch pockets are a cool touch. Some sizes are still available online.
